I'm having trouble getting an IP T.38 FAX server to run on my IP Office...
The manufacturer thinks this may be caused by a "very high CSeq value"
Not sure what that is, but does anyone know if that value is something
that may be adjustable in IP Office?
Thanks,
-Jon
I don't know if this will help, I use an older version of VM Pro, but sometimes I have to disable the firewall on the VM server for long enough for the system to start working... Then re-enable the firewall, and everything is fine...

Anyone out there know where a guy could get a copy of the User CD with Phone Manager 4.2(36) ?
(I know it's old, but we are just updating slowly...)
Thanks,

Thanks intrigrant,
I have done a couple of upgrades, but with "foreknowledge" of what to expect with the software like a change in syntax and so forth..
I may even have a V 5 admin setup around here...
Thanks again for the info...

I am running IPO Version 4.2(17)
I'd like to use a VOIP FAX server which was verified using IPO V. 7
Does anyone know which version of IPO started support for T.38?
How much pain is involved in a move of this size?
(I assume just saving a config file is not recommended)
(I just maintain our...
Does anyone have a copy of the old free PC DBA software that came with these units?
I was recently asked to install an old unit for a local vet.
The unit seems to work well, but it seems like the overall programming would be
a WHOLE lot easier with the software... (I realize I'll probably have...
I have two IP500 systems with a SIP trunk between them. On system #2, the extension numbers are in the SIP Name tab for each user, so when calls come from system #1, system #2 recognizes the extension as on-system and all is OK. However, when calls come from system #2 to system #1, the...
I have the domain name in there... ot.bandwidth.com
my shortcode 9N goes to my SIP ARS
xxxxxxxxxxN; Dial 3K1 N"@ot.bandwidth.com"
Which generates this output on the system status trace:
12/11/09 11:08:29 AM-150ms Line = 20, Channel = 2, SIP Message = Response, Call Ref = 195, Direction =...
Is there a way to get the IP Office to use E.164?
When I add a + sign to the number field, it inserts a 00
in front of the sip invite.
I need the invite to show To: +1xxxxxxxxxx@ot.bandwidth.com
Right now, it only uses 10-digit dialing.
I can get bandwidth to accept 10-digit, but every time...
Hi folks!
When my VM calls out to let me know there is a message waiting,
the SIP invite From: field shows OUTBOUND_ALERT@ot.bandwidth.com
On a normal outgoing call, the system pulls the CID from the SIP NAME field in each user's SIP tab, with the resulting invite showing...
Our "Partner" didn't even know how to do SIP trunking, and that's why we bought the system.... I figured that out, if I can get our VPN ready, that will be a step in the right direction. I thought someone had posted a list of gear that Avaya liked? We have a Cisco ASA 5520 appliance that will...
OK... Got the bosses interested in this... Do I need a license on the IPO? I have an IP500. Gonna upgrade the software soon to 4.2.(17) (I think that's the version)
If so, what is the license specifically?
Then, can I set up a separate TFTP server to load the
software to only the phones I want...
DUUUUUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!
I found the problem....
ARRRGGGHHH!!!
I had a SIP trunk URI AND an analog trunk labelled with
the same line ID... Not sure why the system didn't
show it as error....
Anyway... everythings working again...
Thanks,
-Jon
Can someone point me to the upgrade location for...
Well... At this point, I'm just using a regular phone to test the calls, so the fire system isn't in the mix. I have a specific shortcode to access the line. *#7N feature=dial number=N line group ID=53
ARS 53 is:
code=N; feature=dial number=N line group id=4
Line 9 has outgoing group id=4...
