Are you using the reception breakout in system settings? If so that may be a solution, never thought of that. As the Hunt Groups do not have reception breakout options listed for me.
Unfortunately they have copper lines, so I'm unable to remove inbound on one for remote access. They also do not have an AutoAttendant I can point an option to a shortcode with.
Back to the drawing board..! They may just need to settle with something less than ideal and/or change of their...
Thanks for the reply..!
*0 is for the Breakout Reception I think? Which, unfortunately Hunt Groups do not have the option for..
If I'm wrong, I'd be glad to eat my words though.. :-P I'm looking for an option, while in a mailbox, to be sent to the prompt asking for mailbox number/password...
Hey, all. I've looked through my admin guides, made some searches and still no dice for me. This should be a quick one.
Is there a command to break out of a mailbox to check messages on Embedded VM, ala *7 in VMPro? I remember there being *17 I think, but do not currently have a system to test...
Should work OK.
Site A has a backup ARS that has
Code: 1N
Number: 71N
Line Group ID: To Site B
Site B has a shortcode 7N that points to a seperate ARS table to go over local PRI. That ARS then has a backup ARS like this..
Code: 1N
Number: 61N
Line Group ID: To Site A
And then create a...
I would try adding 2 IP Routes to the config, like so:
ROUTE 1:
IP: 192.168.2.0
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 0.0.0.0
LAN1
Route 2:
IP: 0.0.0.0
Subnet: 0.0.0.0
Gateway: 192.168.2.1
LAN1
Forces the IPO to use 192.168.2.1 for its default gateway for all traffic coming in/out of LAN1.. give...
Come to think of it, I haven't attempted running Key Server on Server 2008 yet. I was thinking just Manager.
Do you have any other XP/Server2003 machine you can run Key Server on? It's a roundabout way to go about it, but it would at least work. I am not sure of the compatibility of Key Server...
Manager works on 2008. Did you set the License Server IP address in the IPO config to the new (proper) IP address?
If so, after restarting Key Server, try rebooting your IPO. It will automatically try validating the licenses again when it comes back up.
I imagine if you use that Firefox plugin that adigo linked to earlier (sorry if it's NOT a Firefox plugin, by the sounds of it, it is though) it should work like this.
I could see this coming in handy, but with Internet Explorer being the usual standard for businesses even having a...
Exactly. It would work the same as if you used a DND button. The call will skip past that agent until their first CA button is free. The caller will be queued again once the no answer time is reached.
On a standard Server 2008 installation, no problems. I've tried running our VMPro on our in-house Exchange 2007 server (using Server 2008 OS) and it gives me issues, no doubt due to the added level of permissions and security though.
Just curious if you are having issues or if you just want to...
I'm assuming this is a Windows error you are receiving?
As I haven't seen this error myself, I'll start at the basics -- what version of Manager are you using, what OS are you running, and have you already tried uninstall/reinstalling the Manager application?
Same thing happened to me yesterday, but the expansion got bricked. I don't have a better answer other than "sometimes it just happens." There's no rhyme or reason to why it happened, for me anyways.. had to get a replacement, as I got no response from the module from DTE port.
If you copied the modules instead of creating new ones each time..
Did you change the recording name in the 2nd and 3rd module in the Edit Play List action? All 3 modules need different recording names.
Have you tried powercycling the DDS16? I've seen it where a bad wire run shorts and sparks the port, rendering it unusable until I powercycle the module. If it's feasible, I would try re-terminating the cable on both ends, and if you still have problems, possibly a new wire run?
3 Modules is good.
If you're getting your own voicemail, then you likely have a typo somewhere in your shortcodes.
Shortcode: 850
Feature: VoicemailCollect
Number: "MODULE1"
Shortcode: 851
Feature: VoicemailCollect
Number: "MODULE2"
Make sure you have the quotes in place in the Number field..
OK. Let's all make sure we're on the same page.
The way it works from an end-user standpoint: dial a shortcode, make a recording, then it automatically forwards said recording into a bunch of mailboxes that has voicemail to email set up, so that people can retrieve it from their mobile devices...
