HI PBXT3CH,
If you follow RS528's instructions you will be able to create a new table and add "1" for all incoming numbers. If your not sure what number plan it belongs to, maybe turn on d-channel messaging and it will display the call type i.e. NATL and the calling number and you will know...
Hi All,
I heard that in order for a user to call a number in there i.e. missed call log they need to edit the number and put 9 in front of the number before the call will go out. Is there a way around this?
I have a customer who wants to simply select the number in his call log, hit dial and...
Thanks Guys,
I've never heard of it before, so I was pretty sure it couldn't be done but I thought I would ask the experts. I agree with you guys that if your doing a screened transfer you should simply tell the end extension that you are putting them through now and that should be sufficient...
Hi MtlSwim,
I have had this problem a few times and I would suggest testing using a laptop connected to the ELAN. When I install Call Pilots I map my cd rom to Call Pilot and a folder I have with my Call Pilot Patches in it to help save time when installing it. If you put a PC on the elan...
Hi All,
I have a customer who wants to hear a confirmation tone when a screened transfer has been completed. Bascially a call comes in, the call is transfered, the staff memeber announces the call to the destination extension and then hits connect. The customer wants when the connect is...
Hi Sl1M1,
I have only installed TM3.0, but if I was in your shoes I would be pushing for 2003. I havnt seen TM3.1, but im told its resonably close to 3.0. I found that TM 3.0 works really well on XP machines aswell, so if its a small site and the customers a bit tight, maybe consider XP...
Hi dcross,
I think the guru is on the money. I have a site that does the same invalid id problem, even though it is registered back to the main site. It usually goes away after you go off-hook and hang up for the first time. I think it has somthing to do with the temporary registration...
Hi johnpoole,
Thanks for your help.
I had a user dial # and they still had the delay. I double checked making a call from the same extension dropped back to local mode and it had the same delay. I am putting it back to the BCM engineer to have a look to see if he has any config problems...
Hi All,
I have a CS1000 4.5 and a SRG50 with 8 users. Problem I am having is when an SRG site user who is registered back to the main site tries to dial out via the SRG's local ISDN there is an 18 second delay before they get ringback. The call goes out fine and I see the call go out on the...
I would check if its been patched to SU03. Im not 100% sure, but I know with SU03 you need to put the CPMGR patch on your PC or you cant browse to Call Pilot Manager, and I think there is one for App Builder also. Maybe I'm pointing you in the wrong direction, but it might be worth a look...
Thanks for that setting. I will get the latest deplist and see if that helps. I found that if you take off the 3905's off hook cover and plug the headset into the supervisors jack it will ring, but this patch is a lot better option.
Thanks again.
What release is the call pilot running? I would follow pbxn's advise, but if you have to reboot it you might aswell check its patches, load any new ones it is missing and then give it a kick in the arse. I had similar problems with meridian mail and found on that occasion that a delete and...
Thanks Stefanog65,
I think im close, I have got fita in the set now and it buzzes 4 times instead of once, but still no ring. Must be somthing else Im missing. Thanks for the help.
Might have somthing to do with the MCR's maybe try changing them to scr, just for testing or set up the lhk in the set to key 1. another option is to set up a phantom that dcfw's t0 7000 and change 432's fdn's to the phantom.
Hi Das,
Sorry.
hmmmm... Maybe play with the ATRN's, only problem is it might effct you tdm phones also. Not having a Sig Server makes it a bit of a bummer to check all the settings, but you could try checking in OTM IP Telephony section the codec you are using. Not sure what sort of switches...
Hi Daza,
I have heard of a fault similar to this. If IP to IP calls are ok (as it was in the fault I heard of) I believe it was somthing to do with the ISDN. If you have some COTS you can test with and find its ok on them I would look at the PRI settings. On the fault I heard of it was some...
Hi All,
Hopefully somone can help me out with this one.
I have a handful of 3905 agents and they want their phones to ring on incoming calls not buzz as they currently do. I have tried changing the Buzz to RNGI/RNGB in the class with no success. Is there any other promts to add to the set...
Hi Lee,
Have you put in the mutimedia number in the SDN?
Set it up like Perry said.. phantom with dcfw to the multimedia acd NOT the ACD you use for getting your voice messages. If you set the dcw to the same number you use for standard voice calls Call Pilot does not know they are a Fax...
