    CMS 16.2 Citirx SSH Issue

We are having some problems getting Supervisor working using SSH under Citrix. It works fine using telnet. When you try and login you get a 'failed to open communication port' error. If you use manual login you get the server banner and username/password prompt, at the point where you would...

CVLAN to PG , lost skills

Got to the bottom of it last week, they had two CMS servers and as ryoung7 pointed out one of the servers did not have the required skills monitored in the rta_geo report. As they did not run them in A primary-HA setup the config was never sync'd and everytime the feed swapped we lost the skills.

Quick way to rename buttons on 4610sw

Straght forward ms-dos commands. There are plenty of web sites that document them. I wrote this script to help with rolling out new handsets, but I suppose you could write somthing to work with existing files. Let me know what you have in mind and I'll see if I can help.

Quick way to rename buttons on 4610sw

Thinking about it, you could run the orginal script using the starting extn 2750000 (or whatever) and ending extn 2759999 (or whatever), it should still work. After you create the batch file the command line to ruin it should look somthing like, create 4610 2750000 2759999 This would create...

Quick way to rename buttons on 4610sw

Change the looped for copy command in the script to FOR /L %%G IN (%2,1,%3) DO copy master_%1.txt 275%%G_%1data.txt And then use the syntax, 'create 4610 1000 2000' and it will create 1000 files from 2751000_4610data.txt to 2752000_4610data.txt using master_4610.txt as the template. You just...

Use this DOS batch script to create the necessary files on your FTP server. Call it create.bat. :: File to create or alter individual phone files :: Needs a 'master' file called master_xxxx.txt to use a template to alter or create the files :: xxxx is the type of phone, i.e. 4610 or 4620 ...

CVLAN to PG , lost skills

The skills are on ICM and route properly most of the time, I doubt the agents have more than 20 skills, but will check.

CVLAN to PG , lost skills

Any ideas on this one? The system is running a MAPD card with a CVLAN connection to a CISCO PG, adjunct routing is used to route calls. System is fine and stable, no problems. We add some skills. Now sometimes when changes are made to agents in those specific skills the system looses the...

    Uploading Annoucments

Thanks inerguard, I did try this when I was working on the problem but as I said when uploading using ftp directly for some reason the annoucment does not play. Strange as I did a test, downloaded a file from the board played it to check on my machine then uploaded it back to the board, worked...

    Uploading Annoucments

I am using the CLAN to connect, the errors I get when I try to backup are below. If I try to use dadmin as the login ID it times out (presumably because it cannot handle the pin bit of the login). I guess my ID does not support the disable command? Tue Nov 11 09:26:39 GMT 2008 **Task: Back...

4622SW IP Call Log Problems rel 2.887

Upgraded all handsets to 2.887 recently, one of the agents just noticed a problem. When a call arrives with the agent the incoming CLI is displayed properly on the top of the screen (4622SW IP), but only the first 3 digits are displayed in the incoming answered call log. This only happens when...

    CMS RTA feed ports

Different feeds use different ports, and it looks like it is configurable. To confirm go to /export/home/pserv and check for any rta directories, for instance rta_iex. In the rta folder do a 'cat startrta | grep wtmout'. This should tell you which host is using which port on that particular...

    CompTIA Convergence+ Exam

Passed my CompTIA Convergence+ today, just! Everyone should probably be made aware that Convergence+ and CTP have significantly different content. There is some crossover but any candidates trying for Convergence+ that just study for CTP are gonna end with problems. I think my pass was more...

    Handset Upgrade/Backup Protocols

We have an estate of 4610SW and 4622SW IP Phones. They currently use a TFTP server to get firmware updates and FTP to upload/download configurations. Can we use SFTP for either of these functions? Or is there another more secure approach?
