I have an ASA 5510 currently configured for IPSec VPN using the Cisco VPN client software. Everything works as expected. Recently I have been asked to connect a small remote site which has a Cisco 861 router. I want to use the the 861 as an Easy VPN client and my ASA as the Easy VPN server...
I have setup RBS which is working correctly and am trying to get the Maintainer.exe garbage collection setup so that when a user deletes a file from SharePoint the file gets purged from the RBS blob store. I have followed directions on the Technet site but when I run the...
I went ahead and removed all the codes with the CallPilot turned off. After turning it back on everything is working as expected so the tech was correct.
I had a working CallPilot 150 for many years with a Norstar Phone system. It recently failed and after purchasing a replacement and reconfiguring it, I noticed it would randomly stop working. A tech said that I need to turn it off and use the xftest feature to remove every single code and then...
I have a Callpilot 150 Basic Call center and am setting up a skillset. When I do this a mailbox is automatically created with the CDN I assigned to the skillset. I don't understand how to initialize the mailbox because it is not attached to a phone. Is there a way I can remotely do this or is...
dberg35, The link you provided is for RDP 6.0, but 6.1 is needed for TS Web access (sometimes called RemoteApp). Some of the documentation I have come across suggests that MS hasn't released RDP6.1 for 64 bit platforms.
I am need of a workaround or a way to install the version found in...
I am getting event codes 820 and 263 in my Sys test log. Users are experiencing dropped calls at random times.
In the manual I read that 820 means line driver problem and 263 means handshake which occurs between KSU line and the network when a line is released was not properly completed. The...
In order to open TS Web Access pages you need to have Remote Desktop 6.1 installed. The problem is MS never released a version for Windows 2003 64 bit. I have successfully installed RDP 6.1 on 2003 32 bit by changing the compatibility mode on the installer to XP. But this workaround doesn't...
I have a Norstar MICS system and people have been reporting they hear a clicking noise and then their call gets dropped. It only seems to happen when people are using an outside line. I have 10 analog lines and 6 DID lines coming in from the CO. We recently moved locations and four of the...
There are a lot of line pools but I never used any other then PRI-A on my other phones. If I press next I see PRI-B, PRI-C and so on. Under System Programming PRI-A is the only one that has an access code, which is 9. There has to be a simple programming change to make this work. I am just...
Fireeater, I am not sure what you mean by the above comment. All of my other phones use PRI-A N as their LinePool (Under Terminal&Sets > Line Access > LinePool access. Every other phone can dial 9 to get to an outside line unless this is restricted by a filter.
I have one phone that can't dial an outside line. When I select 9 I get "Denied in Admin". the restriction filter is set for 02. I read through some of the other Tek-Tips on this subject but I still have this issue. I am sure I am missing something so any help would be appreciated.
The...
I know this may be a long-shot but I just recently moved my organization's telephone system, it is a Norstar MICS system. Overall the move went pretty good except for one nagging issue
Some of my users report they hear a fax machine sound while calling outside lines, this only seems to happen...
The phone system is a Nortel Norstar MICS with system version 7.0.
The main MICS has 2 DS cards and the Fiber Trunk Module (12x0) has 2 DID cards and 1 DS card.
What I am trying to determine is when I look at the two 66 blocks where the pairs from the telephone company are punched down what...
A few questions about DID (direct inward dialing)...
Is there a way to determine which telephone number is assigned to incoming DID lines from the CO? I can see on the 66 block where each pair is coming into the block and I have 16 pairs. I am trying to determine what actual telephone number...
