Yes, by doing what you have said will do that. I would suggest that you do it on a 2k3 DC box rather than 2k DC as the Site based DFS works alot better.

have you tired to upgrade as9 to as9.01 and then run SP4, that is what I am running on all our win2k3 boxes and no problems. Ant

Hi, download and install SP4 for AS, this is whta I have done and fixed my issue with logging in

I have had the same issues, after doing a upgrade to 9.01 you must restart then install SP4 for AS this seemed to have cured all my problems with the login error.
