upgraded to 2003 now i cant assign to media pool

- im running brightstor 9 and just upgraded the server to windows 2003..
- its not a primary backup (which is on another server running 2000)

the problem im having is i cant assign tapes to the media pool.i can see the tapes, inventory and format, but thats it

i tried to create a new job but still no luck. also, i deleted the pool and created a new group in device configuration.
ive rebooted both servers.
any suggestions?

have you tired to upgrade as9 to as9.01 and then run SP4, that is what I am running on all our win2k3 boxes and no problems.

we have upgraded to the latest build 2040, but still having problems assigning media...found a work around by merging a formatted or blank tape but it doesnt label or move the media to the save set.

stopped and started all the engines on both servers.
i tried this before the patches and it didnt work. So maybe you have to do this after the patches as well...
