cannot login to brightstor v9

after sp update, i cannot login to brightstor v9.

Error message:

server failed to authenticate the user caroot (EC=-1)
Please check the troubleshooting tips for authentication to correct the problem..

need help

I have had the same issues, after doing a upgrade to 9.01 you must restart then install SP4 for AS this seemed to have cured all my problems with the login error.

I had the same error, and just run the BAB_HOME$\BABstart.bat
I hope this help
