Ed, I worked for Western Electric and ran a lot of 500MCM and also 750MCM. Those were the good old days. We called the lacing tool a "sewing needle." We sewed everything and made it neat. Crossbar racks didn't require horizontal sewing, however.

I've run into the old "overqualified" excuse. Once they find out the salary you have been making you are put in the "overqualified" category and they won't hire you.

I have the same issue. It works on XP but the light stays on with Vista and Windows 7. I do get the "safe to eject" message on Vista and 7 but the light stays on. I'm glad you posted this. I have been wondering if anybody else had the same situation.

In my day we used ABAM cable for T1. Transmit and Receive had to be in separate cables. The foil shield was grounded on one end only. Grounding both ends caused current flow and induced noise. Just a bit of trivia from long ago. ;)

Isn't there one PCI-E six-pin connector coming from your power supply that you aren't using? Use that and the y connector for the other one and you're all set.
If you don't have an unused one then you'll need another y connector.
