My NIC doens't start when I plug it to network

Win2K has the NIC deactivation feature. I have 2 different Win2K pro clients (noteboks) where the NIC doesn't start if the network cable wasn't connected from the start. If I unplug the network cable afterwards it works, until next time they start up without the network cable plugged. It...

    Small Business Server problem

W2K pro as well as server has a feature which deactivates the NIC when it isn't connected to a networkcomponent (Switch, HUB, etc). So the solution to your problem is to connect your NIC to a network. You can always change the IP to a different subnet. //FZ

Is it possib. to move Exchange webmail to a webserver?

Thanks for your answer. But I think that it's way too expensive to buy Exchange Advanced Server for this single feature that I need. I was wondering if it was possible to move the website anyway. If I exported the settings from my mailserver and imported it to my webserver. And changed the...

    2 isp's and 2 nics=more bandwith?

Why don't you cancel one of them and order more bandwith to the other? What you want to do takes a lot of time. You need to find some software which can bundle to NIC's with diffenret IP adr. And your NIC's need to be manageable to do this. //FZ
