I'm in Memphis also. Call Scottel, I trust them with everything. Just say no to Verizon, nothing but headaches. Be glad to come over and look at it with you, if you want.

CallPilot 4.0
Well, technically it's possible, but I cannot even begin to see how it could be managed effectively.
I built a condensed version starting with DayofWeek and then checking Date. For example, for December2007, if it is Friday, and today is 12/7 then check time of day, if AM call A, if PM call B...
What about a phantom DN and use DISA to allow the users to change the forwarding number. At least it puts the ownership back on them and provides maximum flexibility on where the calls can be forwarded.
I know it doesn't help and you have already thought of this, but a floater cell phone or pager is the best way to solve this problem. I sure wouldn't want to have to reprogram this for an illness or vacation.
The ports are good. The PEP I'm not sure about. We are on the 8th month since the new PBX/CP was installed and have yet to sign off on completion. Verizon, our provider, cannot solve our fax problem. Nortel engineers have been on-site with no luck.
Until I sign off on the purchase, I am not...
I have witnessed and had users report that Desktop Messaging messages will disappear when they try to open them. The messages are still accessible via the telephone into CallPilot. Any thoughts?

How do I remove a superloop?
Instead of setting up a phantom superloop, I set up a virtual superloop. I can't seem to find a way to remove or even change it.
Can someone point to the NTP#
Thanks,
Douglas
bigindian65...D'oh! You are correct. Can you tell it's Monday and that I'm in Management!
Man, I miss pulling cable, crossconnects, etc. Sometimes I don't think I'll ever come out of this braindead feeling. Off to find some caffeine...
Thanks everyone.
Well then I'm really confused. On my 2008's and 2616's I can program a key as "MWK 5499", same as on the i2004, and when pressed it breaks dial tone and calls 5499. On the i2004, I have to press a line key and then the MWK key to call 5499.
Seems like most technology upgrades where an extra...
Thanks for the help. I had tried that button earlier when I saw it mentioned in the 39xx docs. Well, you have to push the line button first. Much different than the 2008's and 2616's that are our standard issue.
Coming from a Rockwell Spectrum background I have always found Nortel's...
Key 16 MWK does not display on my i2004 as a softkey. The only softkeys that appear are Transfer, Conference, and Forward. Can anyone tell me what completely easy step I am missing?
Thanks,
Douglas

I manage several CS1000e PBXs in the U.S., however, we have inherited a Norstar MICS with StarTalk Flash in Montreal, Canada. Is there a GUI or CLI interface built-in to either of these devices?
What is the preferred way to remotely manage them for MACs?
TIA,
Douglas
Another software you might want to try is Phonemaster from www.phoneware.ie
I have heard it is better than TM, however, I cannot say (never used anything but Phonemaster).
