Ok, Folks! Here's a pretty freaky one to chew on.
We have a Definity G3siV10. I have a Station (6408D+) configured with a coverage path going to Point 1: r2, Point 2:v7777(vmail)
r2 is a cell phone. Remote Coverage 2 is configured with 91[areacode+cell#].
I have tried this from both internal...
Thanks a ton, SP. I had a feeling about this when you first mentioned it--especially after seeing all of the other threads dealing with various "weird stuff" being caused by incompatibility. I'll break the news to my customer today.
Thanks again to all who gave a hand with this one.
This is...
Thanks for the reply, Rik.
She has 5 intercom paths already, and I doubt she ever uses all of them at once.
Again, the F986 seems to work other than the call does not get back to the mailbox the caller opted out of to get to the operator--unless the caller remains on with the operator for 30...
Thanks, bluemr2. I'm almost 100% sure that's already set up, but I'll be sure to check on that feature while on site today.
However, that still wouldn't explain why people who zero out of a mailbox to the attendant cannot be sent right back into the same mailbox by the attendant using F986 in...
Like I said, I'm not 100% sure of the Startalk model or release#. I should be able to stop in at the site today and get the exact specs. What I know for sure is that it's not a Flash version. Thanks again.
More info:
When getting transferred back into the mailbox you zeroed out of you get 1 full ring and then hear, "The Operator is not available. To leave a message in the General mailbox, press 1, or press * to return to the main menu." If you try to zero from here you're told that it's an...
Thanks for the reply. It is simply an extension.
I would have to go to the site to be 100% sure, but I believe it's a StarTalk C model 4-port. It's not the Flash or Mini.
I'll have the customer try station to station tomorrow.
Thanks again.
Customer has MICS 7.0 with StarTalk 4-port vmail.
Here's the scenario:
Call goes to agent's mailbox via FNA, DND, or F986 from Operator......caller decides to zero out to operator.....after verifying agent is not really available, caller decides to leave a message........operator uses F986 as...
Hello all,
I need to remotely access this cutomer's newly installed telephone PBX via the web. The management program communicates over ports 5000, 5002, & 5003 using TCP.This PIX 501 was already in place when we installed the system, but the customer no longer has IT support for it, so I...
Yes I did. All 12 channels are assigned with DNIS service, they all show as inserv when I display voice channels, and all show as *OnHook* on the system monitor. They all pick calls up when dialed directly. They pick up randomly when I call the hunt group extension or when I call my test station...
Yep, sure did. Stations in Definity are 5030 - 5041 as members of hunt group 99 and cross-connected from their respective analog ports in order over to the Intuity. I assigned 5030 to voice port 0, 5031 to voice port 1, 5032 to voice port2, etc.... Any other thoughts? Thanks for getting back to me.
I have a Definity G3si V11 that I integrated directly with a new Intuity Audix MAP5 R5 via the CLAN. All indications are that the link is good. The Intuity Switch Link Status screen shows the Link to be up and running. The Definity 'status link 1' command shows the link connected...
Thanks for the input. After reading through a ton of documentation regarding the upgrade procedures and the change of integration type, I think I am going to prepare myself for a long day of typing and tabbing through Audix fields. I'll probably leave the old system tied into a few analog ports...
I am working on moving a customer to an Intuity Audix R4 from an earlier version. They are currently using a Nortel Meridian PBX and it is integrated via DCIU. The plan is to use CLAN integration to a Definity ECS that the facility inherited from their corporate offices. I want to avoid...
