I added a SYS_PRNT to a Definity V12 over ip. I decided to do the same with a V8i.03, however there is no ip-service screen and no SYS_PRNT choice in the system parameters features. Does this mean I can't do it in the V*?
My network techician pointed out that it is using a broadcast address that I never input. where is it getting 10.17.155.255? when my two static ip's are
CLAN 10.17.152.56 and printer 10.17.152.79?

We had this problem with AT&T local and they turned answer supervision on in their switch, which caused it to work. SBC says the dms switch doesn't have settings like that. When you trace it does it give you an error code? I can't trace in my switch - because it's a V6. My contact at SBC...
The trunk to trunk transfer field doesn't apply to a tie or isdn trunk group as long as the COR and COS have override set to yes. I tried changing the changing the disconnect supervision field in the trunk group and it didn't help.
I'm trying to find the major differences between the 64xx phones and the 24xx. The call log seems to be the major differences. Is there a way to see the call log on a 64XX set. I see the field LWC log external calls, but I don't know how to bring up the list.
I retired from Lucent when the V9 came out. In the universe I'm living in, I am grateful to get a V6. Upgrades are not an option since this company is unwilling to pay. I read another post that says name capatibility came with V8.
We are set up with NI2 in the switch using b protocol, we get the number but not the name of the calling party. XO Communications says it is because I have a V6 Definity switch that I can't get the name. Does anyone know if this is true?
