Try this one too:
if exist ("c:\epoagent\naimas32.exe")
exit
else
use m: "\\fileshare\update$"
$msgselect = messagebox("The EPO Agent will be installed, please click
OK to proceed.","Epo Install",0)
run...
It's very weird. Microsoft says that this hotfix is already included in the Exchenge SP4. You can check it out at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q274832&ID=274832&GSSNB=1
Then search for the specific hotfix, which is Q248838.
Maybe you'll have to ask to a MS tech...
Darnic, the problem is about destination path, not source path, You're right about what you said.
People you're right too, destination path was make for working with local paths. NAI tech support staff just told me, but I find kinda weird when you look at NAI's knowledge baseand find that there...
You're all right, ME is very good for small and medium business, but the thing is McAfee has scheduled to end all the support and there is a date for EOF (End-Of-Life). I think, as many manufactures, is a way for making customers to upgrade and pay for it.
ePO works very well in all scenarios...
- Download the CleanUp utility available at www.microsoft.com
- Clean up the Temp folder.
- Remove the folders inside the Winnt\Installer directory.
- Clean up the registry and delete the folders: \PROGRAM FILES\NETWORK ASSOCIATES and \PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\NETWORK ASSOCIATES
Try these:
- Uninstalling the agent, removing the WINDOWS\SYSTEM\NTME folder, rebooting and reinstalling the agent.
- Change the installation method: Push on or Pull Off. Do not use Batch install. I recommend Push on.
Hi all,
I recommend you all to stop using ME (any version) and try out the brand new e-Policy Orchestrator 2.0. (from McAfee too) It's very good!
For mUtech: Use the scripts that are avalaible in the NAI's web site for upgrading the engine. The specific file is MEUPGD.ZIP.
