Does it connect to the network direclty, or is it a local parallel/usb printer? If it is a network printer, on the server just add a new local printer, create a new tcp/ip port and connect that way. If it is a local printer, just share it from the locally attached pc and connect that way.
Or...
Have a look at this page http://www.workthin.com/tshta.htm , specifically the Word doc "Locking Down Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server Sessions".
Good luck
If you use ISA server to publish your webmail it can do it for you. I have set ours up so that when a user goes to webmail.x.com.au they are automatically diverted to webmail.x.com.au/exchange.
Before we deployed ISA server I had a default.asp/html that just diverted the user straight to...
Have you tried robocopy? You can use switches to copy permissions. I don't think it would take the share permissions though, just the file/directory permissions.
Are you using ISA server? If you are have a look at this:
http://www.isaserver.org/tutorials/2004pubowamobile.html
I can get internal OMA fine, just not externally (until I work through the above link).
Good luck
I just had the same problem, I could run exmerge on mailboxes in the first store, but not any additional ones.
This fixed it up

You have to remove the inherited deny permissions with adsi edit (well I had to anyway)
Good luck.
Hello everyone, hopefully someone can help me out with this.
I have created a sharepoint team services site eg http://server/sites/intranet, I want people to just have to type in http://intranet to get there (and not see the real sharepoint path).
I have created a dns record to point to this...
Thanks for that. I had a look through but it only tells me what I already know. It says TCP/IP is the default protocol and that is that. Thanks for looking anyway.

Hello everyone. I need to set IPX/SPX as the default protocol instead of TCP/IP in XP Pro. I am using a VPN client that hijacks all TCP/IP traffic. If you try to modify the routing table the VPN software locks you out. I need to be able to print/use exchange etc on the network, so on my 98...

Have you tried it in another box? I have actually found it much harder to recover files from NTFS drives because the files that need to be recovered are usually in the mydocuments directory or a similar one which is locked out due to file permissions. Before you do too much more if...
Does the cd rom drive have a play button on the front? If it does try putting in the cd, put in some headphones in the headphone jack on the cd rom, press play. If it works, then your drive is ok and can play the cd, you might want to check your system properties/cd properties and check if...
The version that I use came with Windows XP (Remote Desktop Connection), however It works on 95/98/2000. All I did was copy two files, MSTSC.exe and MSTSCAX.DLL. You then have the option under "Local Resources" to enable connection to local Disk Drives, Printers and Serial Ports...
On the most current TS client you have the option of letting the TS session see your local hard drives. This way you just save the Word/Excel docs to your local system, jump into TS and you can copy them to wherever you want. It is a bit messy, but if you are not talking about large quantities...
