Fdisk then Format should do it. My understanding of low level format is that it sets out drive parameters, so if you do this make sure its done by a program from your drive manufacturer.

Installing Win 98 does NOT repartition drives. This has to be done with fdisk or third party software specificaly designed for the job.

Hi the message you are recieving is saying that the Cd-Rom drive is looking for a bootable Cd-Rom and can't find it. Try looking in your bios options for boot devices and choose a: & c: but no Cd-Rom

If I close windows 95 down properly the next time I boot I get a message saying that windows was not shut down properly and to run scan disk. Pressing any key to run scan disk then gives a message saying that scandisk.exe could not be found. Any Ideas!!
