Have found the solution for this.
Will post it here in case going forward someone else has this issue.
The clients weren't registering back to the Configuration Manager Server, this was down to the GUID of the client PC which had been allocated during the previous version of SMS.
To remedy...
Hi & Thanks for the reply.
My initial thought was the same, however all other clients in the same network work fine, I have boundaies set by domain site, IP subnet & IP Range so i'm confident i've got all boundaries set.
I'm not sure but i believe if it were a boundary issue then the client...
Hullo All,
Hoping that someone might have seen this problem with configuration manager or a previous version of SMS.
I have a few clients that report to the management console that the client is not installed. I have pushed the client install at them and watched the CCM log file for any error...
Hoping someone may be able to help.
I have had a single exchange server running with no problem for over a month and have just installed a second server on another site (part of a company wide WAN).
The problem i currently face is that mail between the two servers is not functioning as it...
Thanks for the replies, but no we're not trying to share the same LUN. Each LUN has been allocated it own selection of disks from the array available, and then the seperate LUNS have been allocated to the relevant servers.
We have managed to solve this issue now, strangely enough by reseating...
Hoping that someone might be able to solve a problem we are having.
We have a Dell CX300, which is connected to two Windows 2003 servers using Fibre Channel Cards (234x series).
When allocating Luns (using Navisphere) the server behaves normally, showing the disk space as available for...
Hopefully someone may be able me out.
We have the requirement to send emails that are digitally signed. I'm aware that this can easily(ish) be achieved using outlook, however we are not using the Outlook/Syncing option and only use the Goldmine Email Center.
Can anyone point me in the right...
I am having an issue with the management console which is installed on a remote machine.
The problem is that the SMS Server "forgets" that the client has been installed on a remote machine, you can still connect to The client using the remote control tools, but for some reason the...
Solution Found:
Just thought i would update this thread with the solution, in case anyone else is stuck with a similar problem.
Ensure that you have File & Print Sharing Installed, SMS relies upon this to connect fully to the machine.
If this is installed then check that both the Workstation...

Notmen,
I have had the exact same problem now for about 3 months.
Are you running any kind of disk copies overnight ?
The reason i ask is that ours crashes due to a large SQL disk to disk backup, which runs the server out of memory and resources. if the server isn't running with an array...

The first thing i would have a look at: Is there only one logon server on the domain ?
If not, then check that either the logon scripts are in the netlogon share on all servers, or that you are calling the script file from the specific server where the logon scripts are held, rather than using...
Thans for helping pbxman, however this didn't cure the problem, however i dont believe that when the adapters were removed TCP/IP uninstalled due to Simple TCP/IP Services running, i cant seem to uninstall the Simple TCP/IP Services no matter what i remove
