Hawkes is right. I assumed that the CP150's were new being they were not installed yet. I assumed you just bought and were going to install them. If they are new they will be V3.0 but yes if you upgrade to 7.0 you will need to make sure the CP's are new or v. 3.0. Thanks for catching that...

Hrm.. Avaya VS Nortel.. This is a question like AMD vs Intel.. Personally I think it is a matter of opinion. There is a lot of He said she said in this business and pointing fingers, Nortel is better, No No Avaya is. Both systems have their ups and downs. Personally I will Install an Avaya VoIP...
I maybe incorrect in saying this but i believe 4.1 was the first version of software a callpilot ever worked on. I have had some issues with getting CP 150's to sync up with MICS with 4.1, But CP100's work fine. I have no idea why this is but just speaking from experiance. It never hurts, it...

In the registry where do you change the CDKey? I had a friend who was using a ripped off copy of XP Pro he purchased a copy and wanted to just put in the legit serial number and be off to the races. I know this is possible but i can not remember where to change the key.
Thank You

CICS and CallPilot use flash memory. You can leave them for 5 years and it would be ok. Just dont drop a magnet on them and all will be fine and dandy :-)

Besides checking your messages externally is there any other Administrator things you can do from offsite? This is with our using a RAD. Just a Callpilot 100 and a CICS. Wondering if you can do any greetings or turn off an operator from an outside call.. Thank you
I have an 8 X 24 DR5 Cabinet at a site. Company has 6 Lines on the system. Every once and a while different lines on the system lock up. Im not sure locked up is a proper term more like the lines are hung and they wont disconnect. Example yesterday i was there and lines 1 and 3 when you hit the...
