font size of Excel validation list

How can I increase the font size of values entered as an in-cell dropdown validation list? I want the choices when displayed in the drop-down to have a larger font size; once a choice is made the selection is displayed just fine. Thanks, Paul G.

    Automated backup solution advise please

I think Retrospect server will do the job too. It will backup laptops when they connect to the LAN, and the subnet or specific IP can be defined for the client. There is also an Open file backup option which will work with most DBs.

    OUTLOOK SHOWS THE WRONG TIME

If you are getting mail from an Exchange server also check the time on it. The server will timestamp the mail using its own clock.

    Outlook Form

    1) Do you mean in a contact record or in the 'To:' field of a message? You can certainly have a record with no email address, but I don't see how that helps solve the original question. 2) IPM.note is the Outlook Message class, indicating an EMail message form, compared to IPM.contact for a...

    Outlook Form

Off the top of my head, it sounds like you want the form to show the 'Display Name' field rather than the 'email address' field. You could simply change the display name for the relevent contact records, or modify the IPM.message form to show the desired field.

RightFax VBA Coding in Access 2002

We don't use Access, but we do use RightFax. Here is a link to Captaris' knowledge base, which can be hard to locate via their website or search engine. Perhaps you'll find something useful there: http://athena.rightfax.com/rfknow.nsf

Copy Outlook noteitem data to clipboard

I have a script attached to a button on an Outlook contact form that copies contact info and places it in an Outlook Note. I want to rather have the data copied to the Windows clipboard, so it can be pasted into Word docs. Here's the code so far: Set itm = Application.CreateItem(5) msgString...

    cheapest way to block spam

The cheapest way is to use the Message Filter option in the IMS and enter the domains you want to block. See thread10-203769 for a massive list of known spam domains. The downside is that you can never keep up- the list changes constantly.

    How to backup Outlook Inbox

On the boot volume look in "Documents & Settings--> username--> Local Settings --> Application Data-->Microsoft", where username is the name of the Outlook user. Or just do a search for "*.pst" and see what you get.

    Small business back-up solutions

I second the vote for Retrospect. I use it to backup 5 servers (Exchange, file server, Goldmine, PDC/BDC)and @20 office workstations. Get the Exchange Agent, backup to an AIT drive, it should only take a 2-3 hours nightly doing an incremental backup.

How can I config Palm, Outlook and Exchange?

I used Desktop To Go to solve this problem. It lets you sync both your Outlook personal data _and_ one other public folder in each conduit, ie., personal calendar and Public folder calendar, personal contacts and public folder contacts list, etc.

    retrospect

Retrospect 6.0 includes Unix client software. Maybe you can return the 5.0 version, or just buy the upgrade. If not, write a batch file that will copy the Unix data to the Windows client, and backup the files from there.
