Win2K and Retrospect v5.5 Install Problems

I have a Win2k server (SP3) that I'm trying to install Retrospect Server v5.5. Every time I attempt to install it runs for 20-30 seconds and then stops, giving me an error message saying it has been interrupted, is stopping the install and no files have been changed.

I've shut down darned near everything in background and all services but I still get the message. What am I missing?

I have cross-posted to Dantz (Retrospect) about this as well. Nothing there as yet. <sigh>
