For unneccessary processes you can run msconfig or try downloading EnditAll, a program that looks a lot like Task Manager but can kill just about any processes you want. Use with caution, though

More is better when it comes to PSU wattage. Shouldn't be a problem finding one at a reasonable price.

If you ever find apps running that bog your system down again, look for a program called EnditAll. Lot like Task Manager, but can effectively end any/all processes you deem unneccessary.
