Adding Hardware as a Power User

Please Help! Is there any way in Windows 2000 Pro that I can add hardware as a power user? By default administators only have previlages to add hardware. There must be some type of local security settings that I can change to allow power user's to add hardware. Any information would be so helpful!

The following link has a detailed answer for you, but unfortunately the short answer is no. Power users in Win2K do not have the same rights as in WinNT.
