I believe I have seen this discussed before but I can't seem to hit on the right search term to dredge it up again.
How does one filter spam where the from: field is: <>
The regular IMS message filtering works fine if you have a domain name to enter but I can't quite figure how to filter this...
My understanding of the Lockdown Tool is that it will undo previous changes when it is re-run prior to making a new set of changes.
I would re-run it and undo everything then cancel out without any new changes.
Worth a shot

I believe you can block specific domains for everyone but not by users or groups.
If you want certain users to access certain internet sites, then do a search for RBA Proxy filter, it is free and I believe it will do what you want.
Ain't it fun?

Hi Everyone, I am looking for opinions about managing page file on my server. I read somewhere it is not recommeded to have the pagefile on a raid array. Mine is currently on a raid5 array and is highly fragmented. I was thinking of moving it to another drive which is not part of the array...
agree with mot98, VNC is great open source (free) software. i use it for remote admin over my entire network of 50 stores and office.
newest version at: http://www.tightvnc.com
the exception to the above is if you need to use dial-up connections. VNC works best in a networked situation since...

I have also found the MS shutdown patch will work for a while in some computers and after a few weeks the problem re-appears again. If I install the patch again everythings good for a while then problem comes back.
I've probably got 4-5 pc's that will do this at the office. Beats the heck out...
is the user on AOL? i disabled clear text authentication on my server and immediatly everyone using AOL was unable to login anymore. users on any other ISP can login just fine.
ghost will make an exact image of the entire HD, partitions and all; when the image is copied back to the empty HD, ghost will compensate automatically for the size difference. just make sure the new HD is larger than the old one.
don't add-in drive controllers have a bios of their own that is...
we use oki 320's to print from both unix and windows. unix prints fast in regular text mode but the windows printer drivers for oki 320 always prints windows fonts in graphics mode. once we setup the windows printer to use the GENERIC/TEXT ONLY driver we were able to print just as fast from...
have you tried pulling the raid card and running for a while without it?
to GHOST your primary drive
1. copy GHOST pgm to diskette
2. boot to dos from a boot disk
3. run ghost, telling the program to image primary hard drive and store it on your secondary 80gb drive
4. swap out your primary...
i vote for either a bad or inadaquate power supply.
a virus might destroy the boot sectors, etc but if i read the initial post right, he found the drives completely dead as in 'not spinnin'. never heard a virus do that.
i believe there is a web based admin tool for iis, although depending on your security needs you may not want to make this available on your server. i am not aware of anything else that might work on W98.
any chance all the affected users are on AOL?
i had a problem when i disabled clear text authentication, suddenly every user with AOL as an ISP was unable to login to OWA. Thanks AOL! :-(
Because for a production server stability is paramount. Adding window dressing like the desktop update can cause instability in the user interface. This might be seen as the console freezing or even a random reboot. So unless there is a overriding need for web content on the desktop of your...
