I have a user that is trying to connect to OWA through his home system. He keeps on getting a login error.

I have tried to login from our network using his login and password and it works fine. I even attempted a login from my home ISP and it works fine.

I am at a loss as to why it is not working.

Has anyone else seen any problems like this??

TIA for any help.

Maybe you're using NTLM authentication to access OWA and maybe client is using a browser other than IE (netscape, aol). That would cause the problems you're refering to.

That's what I am thinking as well. I read somewhere in this forum that the browser needs cookies enabled.

For the life of me I can't remember where this setting is..:)

If anyone can help it would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks mot98..[peace]

User is using IE and the cookies are enabled. I can log into his account fine.

It looks like it is a setting on his machine somewhere, but I have been unable to find it.

Any other tips?

is the user on AOL? i disabled clear text authentication on my server and immediatly everyone using AOL was unable to login anymore. users on any other ISP can login just fine.
