    Thanks for your reply Burt. I tried that dn't help :-(. I just figured it out that the Linksys router that connects to the WAN doesn't have an entry in the routing table for the Network 192.168.1.0. I added it and now everything is working fine. Kind regards, Chkmg

    Many thanks Minue. You relly saved the day! BUT the show arp command showed much less hosts alive than the ping 255.x.x.x command. And I know the ping command showed the true picture. Why weren't those hosts in the arp out put? Regards, Chkmg
