I beleive,You can only rename a local printer on windows2000, so if the printer is set up as a network printer, there is no way to rename it.

This is really stupid, but I swear it happens sometimes on my network. In the network settings, select Client for Microsoft Networks,properties, I uncheck the "logon to NT domain " box and then recheck it, restart, and the computer logs on.

If you were using Outlook on a network, most of your info is on the server though.

Explore the start button and look for your profile. You should be able to find your *.pab and *.pst in there.C:\Documents and Settings\YourProfileName\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.
