When you move items from the sent items to another folder it gives your name as the from person.Does anyone know if there is any way of keeping the original sender?

thanks a mill,
Sinead

if you are moving an email from the "sent items" folder then you are the person it is sent from; that is where copies of emails you send out are kept...
you would have to move the emails that you received to keep that person as the from person... ShannonLea

That's because you are the 'from' person. If you are moving items from your sent items folder then by default you are the sender of that item. If you want the original senders name in there you would have to drag the message from your inbox, but, you would lose your reponse to that message. I don't believe you are able to change the senders name, and even if you were it would probably be a manual trawl to do it every time.
