Does anyone know why a window, let's say the control panel, opens up bigger then the viewable area on the desktop, even when it's not maximized? It hasn't been dragged out either.
 
If the font size is bigger than normal.
If the icon size is bigger than normal.
If the icon spacing is bigger than normal. Cheers,

You got me going in the right direction. I went to display properties/appearance/scheme. I changed from Windows standard to windows standard large. This brought the window border in,making the window fit. I changed it back to windows standard scheme, and the window stayed the correct size. Who really knows what the user did. The title bar was missing also, but has returned. Thanks for getting me thinking.
