Communications Manager rel 5. I'm attempting to use DID numbers for my agent logins. I have dummy extensions that the agents will log into. Problem is I can't get the correct Caller id to be sent it appears to look at the phone (dummy ext) and not the login is that the way it is? I have made...
Sorry I don't have the answer yet. I'm tring to do the same thing. I't seems you"ve gotten I bit further than me. Would you mind sharing how you created the AA?
When I call a specific extension internally (I supose it happens externally as well)I get two rings and the call somehow is transfered to the same outside number. Call forwarding is not enabled and redirect is set to no.
I changed the name of an active dn yet when I call the set (T7316) the name is wrong. Do I need to change it somewhere else?
Also, how can I check where a set is forwarded. I have a user that complains they receive someone elses calls at times.
I have a SX200 (LW-19 I believe).
First question will Imat 7.5.1.2 work to program this load?
Secondly, I can't remember how to talk to card via ethernet connection any help to jog my old mind would be appreciated.
I have a client that is using a terminal server session on Mac to connect to PC/server running Winspm.
According to client this has always worked without issue.
Now the following error is given and programming issues occur: WINSPM HAS DETECTED AN UNKNOWN COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM. CORRECT BEHAVIOR...
Today I had to create approx. 75-85 new stations and during the process wondered if a range program option exsist?
Also when creating several analog extension my customer ask me to select(this is from memory)"ieag" as terminal type. They all worked fine but I still don't know the difference...
Thanks all for your response here is the solution to my problem. The original instructions were right just not complete. To launch the Nupoint Agent maintenance terminal I entered "q" from the main menu (when asked to make a selection). I selected yes to go to qnx. At the # prompt
I typed...
Occasionally the CMS link to a remote site will go down.
What commands can I use on the CMS and pbx to see the status and then correct issue without calling Avaya.
I'm trying to log into the Nupoint Agent Maintenance terminal and it fails each time. I've gone to QNX and
entered a suggested command "term=vt100 console" and still no go. I have been assured this is the way to go. Have I missed something in the process?
Somehow RTFM is not what I expected.
I did read the manual and there is no programming I can find for MOH. It should be plug and play. Is it possible we have another defective board or am I missing something?
I have a DBS 96 port system that music plays fine as
BGM but will not work for MOH. I am their phone vendor on
another product so I know very little about the DBS.
MOH is going into a SSC (or SCC card can't remember).
This card (according to my contact)has just been replaced and still no MOH. Help!
From the beginning I also wondered about the csu question?
If that's ok I think ypu should follow phonesrus' advice and have the carrier place a trap on the circuit to let you know what's up.
Life is never that simple.
The big problem began with trying to determine how many unit loads an MLX set takes. We calculated one per set and it was actually two which blew up the configuration count. Let me know if you ever come across that configurator this math stuff is kickin my rear.
Merlinman this is the current configuration. It was set up this way after a call to Avaya. They requested that I redistribute "high powered" cards. Slot eleven is now blank but it originally housed my v/m card. Slot 14 was a 100 dcd module I removed altogether to address a system capacity...
In the old days of Merlin I would have never left a blank but according to Avaya and local tech staff this is now ok.
Go figure. Thanks tdaugirdas for your prompt response.
A configurator (outside of Avaya) is a program, spreedsheet
that allows you to enter your current configuration and it tells you if you have exceeded your system capacity.
My issue is, I have a customer that would like to add (approx)172 sets. 152 TDL & 20 MLX (W/MFM MODULES.
My system has...
