Any other options besides change inc call treatment to VDN/vect play announcement and route back to extension number?
This is for calls direct to extension not agent.

If you record an emergency annnouncement then add the announcement number on the night service tab of the incoming trunk group.
- ch inc-call-handling-trmt trunk-group1 <for example>
Then add night service to a button on your handset.
When you press the night service...
Check ethernet port is nailed down to full duplex/ 100MB /non negotiation otherwise may get a mismatch which can cause these issues. Do you have seperate Voice and data VLAN's set-up?
If you have DDI facilities , point this DDI in the incoming call handling page of the trunk group to the Audix extension number . Caller recieves 'welcome to audix please input extension number.............etc

I had this on recent new installs, not sure why it's changed. When I changed the password through the AIW, I have been able to login again fine. If I run the Gateway Installation Wizard I do not set a password.
1. unplug the IPSI
2. on inserting back in and within 5 secs press the reset button just below the 3 top leds.
3.The first digit if the led is flashing,get it to "I" (like I for Ice) by hitting the reset button
4.Wait for the second digit to flash,get it to 0(like zero) by hitting the reset...
What ver of CM? only CM4 and above will work on 8300C. you can load CM3 via the DVD but then you cannot ping or telnet to the services port. If you have CM3x then you will need a S8300B
What ver of CM are you using. Did you do a reset sys 4 on the LSP, is it a G350? You should not be able to add local accounts on the LSP, when it registers with the Main G700 you should use the same username and password as you use on the G700 Main site, as it syncs with the main site.
I'm just arranging for our maintainer to install 2950-T Cisco Switches(cheaper than 3550) to replace our Cajuns (which haven't been very reliable). They advise these are a suitable replacement.

When we had the 2 mins silence for rememberence day or even the recent Tsunami rememberence day, the dial tone on our analogue phone disappears for 5 mins.

I have 4 TIE circuits setup in one trunk group (120 Channels).
I would like to remove 2 tie circuits i.e 60 channels from the group, and add them to a new trunk group to point to a different switch.
i.e. I have trunk group40 x 120 channels, would like to end up with trunk group 40 x 60...

I resolved this by Alternate Call forwarding AFD to a Phantom DN and direct call forwarding (DCFW) this phantomn to the number in the US.
I couldn't AFD dirct to US due to 'too many digits' but hey it works....can't wait for these nortel boxes to become end of life!!!
