Data Switches for S8720

Other then the Avaya Cajun switches, I wanted to see what other switches other have used and what the success was with them. This would be hardware duplication with high availability. If I understand the documentation, the two data switches are not uplinked to one another. This is for the S8720 isolated control network only.
 
We use (2) 3550 switches with no problem.

Do you have a trunk or uplink between your switches? Do you have any QOS features turned on, and lastly, did you connect both the servers and IPSI's to 10/100 ports?
 
I'm just arranging for our maintainer to install 2950-T Cisco Switches(cheaper than 3550) to replace our Cajuns (which haven't been very reliable). They advise these are a suitable replacement.
