How do you even check the version of Mermail? It's so old, it's not documented anywhere. It's nto obvious in any of the menus.
All I know is, I dial in to the PBX, type AX, see the flying M's,login, and there's mermail. Does that give you a hint what version im running?
Hello,
I am decommissioning an option 11 with Mermail.
For security reasons, I need to delete all the mailboxes.
Besides LISTing them all out and spacebarring each mailbox to delete, is there a faster way that I can delete all of them or a bunch of them at once?
There are hundreds of them. It...
Hello All,
I have a number xxx-xxx-9534.
I do a simple ld 20 prt for a 9534 DN but it doesnt exist.
I've scanned through all of the TNs to see if there are any numbers that look even remotely similar to this DN but cant find any.
idc prt as follows, again, nothing remotely similar:
REQ prt

oh. you mean there are no auth codes built at all?
i just received a ticket from a user at this site that says they would require a new "Long Distance Access Code".
Any ideas how else they are doing this then, if not through LD88?
Sorry should have clarified that users are already using them...
ok.
so this is all i see for both AUB or AUT.
REQ prt
TYPE aub
CUST 0
AUTH006
REQ prt
TYPE aut
CUST 0
AUTH006
CUST 1
AUTH003
CUST 0
AUTH001
Am I supposed to lookup these AUTHxxx in some other command?
Hello,
Never used this feature before.
Apparently you can assign codes for users to punch in so that they can make long distance calls?
what LD is it to create/config a code?
Can you print out all the codes that are assigned to respective users?
thank you
Yes. I will ACD a number to the mail DN.
Im doing this from a remote site so i am not able to call and test the DNs myself.
thanks for your suggestion.
Hey guys,
I'm trying to find the full 10-digit phone number for external meridian mail access.
Within Mermail i can see the VoiceServices-DN Table and know exactly which DN i am looking for. However, the DN does not match any of the numbers in my DID range.
Is there another way to figure out...
We have Cisco gateways that route calls where they need to be.
So for example, you make a call from California to NewYork. The phone gateway in Cali will match the number to a dialpeer that sends the call to NewYork across the WAN so that the call is made off of a NewYork line and we dont pay...
GHTrout,
Our problem is, we have a centralized enterprise phone system with many sites in different parts of the continent connected to it. Moreever, we have other things within the system like IVRs and queues etc that require some sort of number/extension to identify it.
At 4 digits, we would...
ok.
some more questions.
1) is there a significance of what the numbers are?
my LDNO is 4499 so it is receiving 4 digits.
However, the 4xxx doesnt correspond with any of our DIDs we've ever had at that building.
2) if i want the Telco to start sending me 10 digits, is it just a matter of...
Hooking up my Option 11 to a cisco 2800.
Can anybody copy and paste your working dial peers so that i can check it with what ive got?
I am already thinking that the following dial peer which i use for my other switches will not work in this case as nortel doesnt actually send out the bars/nars...
