Hooking up my Option 11 to a cisco 2800.
Can anybody copy and paste your working dial peers so that i can check it with what ive got?

I am already thinking that the following dial peer which i use for my other switches will not work in this case as nortel doesnt actually send out the bars/nars "9" in front of a number.

dial-peer voice 3 pots
description Outbound to PSTN
preference 2
destination-pattern 9.T
port 0/0/0:23
forward-digits all

thanks in advance

This is an outbound dial peer and will not strip the 9 due to the forward-digits all command. It will send the 9. Is the Nortel going into outbound to the router or vise versa?

exactly what i thought.
So by taking the 9 out does that work?
in other words, just .T ?

Or just remove the command forward-digits all. H.323 dial peers automatically strip the 9 unless told otherwise the the forward-digits all or no digit-strip commands.

Take out the 'or' on my reply. Just remove the forward-digits all command from the dial peer.
