I am having an issue with one of my pc's. I upgraded the machine to Office 2007 and now when I sign on I get a "Accessing Microsoft Outlook Failed!" message. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The message would appear even after office was uninstalled.
I used CCleaner to clean up the...
I would like to know if anyone knows how to change the default print range setting in Adobe Reader 8. I have a pdf document that is thousands of pages long and would only like to print the current page. Each page is different and when a customer comes in we need to print their individual page...
I am running Windows 2003 server and Windows XP on clients. When I use the Discover site it says it is unsuccessful. I think this may have something to do with this problem, but not sure why yet. Any ideas?
Using SMS sp3
Properties of Remote Tools Client Agent has "Enable Remote Tools on clients" checked and "Do not install Remote Control components for advanced clients...." Unchecked
The Security tab has my user listed. Policy is full.
The management point is set to the server SMS is installed...
Not sure if this is your issue but if you go into System Manager and under Global Settings Click on Internet Message Formats. Right click Defaults on the right and choose Properties. Under the Advanced Tab should have Allow out of office responses checked.
Let us know if thats it or not.
Finding some information on another website, they suggested turning off all the BE services and then turning them back on.
I accidentally did this yesterday as a job was frozen and had to restart the services in order to get it working again, but when I came in this morning the time is now...
I have Backup exec for windows servers 10d and the current time is an hour off. If I do the SP3 update will that fix the problem or is there another way?
One thing that I have come to notice is if I uninstall the patch the time will be correct on both the Windows 2003 servers and WinXP pro computers.
On the Windows 2000 I don't see the update in Add/Remove programs and the time is correct. The timezone is correct and the box is checked to...
I just found out that if I uninstall the patch KB931836 the time on my machine shows the correct time.
I then reinstall the update and the time is wrong and the only way to fix it is unchecking the automatically adjust for DST box.
Very Wierd. I would almost say the patch has got a glitch...
I got the same issue.
Do we just unchcheck the automatic change to DST for right now or is there a fix? Does anyone know if Microsoft knows about this?
I am seeing this problem as well.
Some of the servers and PC's changed correctly but others did not. It changed them 2 hours ahead instead of the normal 1 hour. I went in and changed it manually and about an hour later it changes to the wrong time again. My users are seeing the same problem...
Not sure if this is the best loaction for this post.
So here's my scenario.
I installed a new server and am removing the old one. I have several departments that have multiple printers to connect to. I copied all the printers from the old server to the new one.
What I would like to do is...

I don't know VB too much myself. Just thought to ask if you tried it or seen it.
Does the copy still go through even though your computer shuts down or does the copy stop as well?
What I am wanting to know is if you have multiple things in the surge protector and you run a copy does it shutdown your monitor, speakers, etc. or just the computer.
This is a good post. I tried looking around for an answer but didn't come up with anything. Guess this is a tough question if no one can come up with an answer. I know I tried figuring it out with no luck.
Can't wait to hear an answer.
