And back to my original message, why in the world would you not include an option for the ding. The sales sheet on this product isnt even CLOSE to what functionality it offers....seems to be a gigantic gap between sales and development at Avaya. Just frustrating!!!!

That's not for the plug in, that is for the desktop notifications when using the one-x portal. And what is really dumb, the chat doesnt populate both places if you use the outlook plug in.

Got the new 9.0 outlook client, NOT WORTH THE MONEY IMO. The thing doesn't even have notifications, no ding, just a little red dot....that is annoying. Avaya fail. FWIW I think it has potential, but im not going to force 300 people to keep one-x portal open just to hear a ding....

I think its funny you cant even order the old ones at all anymore, stuck with refurbished, just another way for them to force upgrades on people. Its shameful.

I think you could make the feature keys ACT like appearances. I mean, really who needs that on a wireless phone? Just shortcode them

I couldn't get the Test Variable to do it, so i just made it really easy and made the pin a menu number, and then transfer...lol, cheating, but worth it. Now no more issues. I would like to know how that Test Variable should have looked, I just couldn't get it to work.

For Gods sakes, its a 500V2; not that old of a system, why make a card that wont work with specific software releases and then some that will. Our distributor gave us the system, and the card. So in the meantime, can I upgrade to 8 then come back down to make it work?
