I have been successfully running a database backup script on a server which has sybase 8. However I've recently changed my DB over to another server which has sybase 9 (same script structure) and the scheduled task does not work when scheduled. It does work when you manually either click on the...
I have backupexec 9.1 installed on a win 2000 server which is part of a domain. How can I backup a server which is in a workgroup. Note I can map a drive to the workgroup server from the domain server. Also the workgroup server is win 2000 and has backupexec 9.1 installed. Any help would be...
After upgrading to Acrobat 6.0 Professional I've recently noticed that txt documents (txt extensions) opened in acrobat 6.0 are opening distorted. I've done some investigating and it appears that the txt extension documents are opened in Times New Roman (non fixed width font) with Acrobat 6.0 by...
Guys, I found a temp solution to this. I added the user to the local admin group and the user was able to print HTML emails. I'm in the process of investigating more to see why the user suddenly needs admin rights to print HTML emails.
I'm having the same issue. I've exhausted the net looking for a solution t this with no success. Did you guys resolve this? I seem to have it pinned to the users profile.
I'm having a similar problem with outlook printing html emails. The header down to the subject prints but nothing else. May be this is related. I logged the user onto another machine and the same thing happens. But if I log on to that machine it prints fine. Seems to be a profile issue. I'm...
bcastner I resolved the issue> I stepped through both machines registries simutaneously and exported and imported any keys that were different (searched for tif) from the working machine to the non_working> Thanks for the help with this :)
Thanks bcastner I imported the registry entries but I'm still getting the unknown file type when opening a tiff from IE. It still just gives save and cancel as options. Is there anything else you can think of that could fix this? Thanks.
I have a strange problem. I'm trying to open a file in internet explorer (the icon suppose to open a TIF document in a microsoft office image viewer) however when i click on the link the dialog box only has save and cancel as options but no open or download. This only happens on one machine. On...
Thanks for the info guys. One question if I was to use permcopy would the set of user shares (created manually through computer management) on one server automatically be created and permissioned on the second server? I want to avoid manually creating 100 user shares through computer manager on...
Saugilsr I'm sorry if I was a bit vague. What I am trying to do is find a way to replicate for example the actual user shares that are manually setup for each user on a server to another server. Instead of having to recreate each user share manually on the other server.Thanks.
Is there a way to replicate only certain shares between servers? in other words is there a way to specify what folders replicate instead of replicating the entire server to another? thanks.
I'm having a strange problem. I have a user who when they print any html email, the email header (to, from and subject) print fine but the body of the email does not print at all. Anyone has any ideas?
No the the person she is replying to is not on the GAL. Yes we are on an exchange server. The problem is really strange as it only occurs sometimes and not with the same address.
I have a user who when she replies to an email the little arrow which signifies that the email has been replied to is missing. Furthermore when the email shows up in the sewnt items but the recipient does not get the email. Any one heard of this? Windows xp running outlook 2002.
I'm having the same problem with a user the little arrow does not appear on the envelope to signify a reply. This happens intermittently. Furthermore the user has reported that the person did not receive the replied email even though it shows up in the sent items. Did you find a fix?
