Hi there, I changed the VO_ALOHR on a CS1000E/rls 5.0. The FTR_data_block has changed but the automatic log out of sets doesn't work anymore. Does the systems needs a INI or a reboot to activate this FTR change ?

An old alternative is using S(ingle)T(erminal)A(ccess). The modem will dial to the STA and in the STA-menu you can choose to connect to the PABX or MAIL. This was also the way to connect remotely to CCR and MAX in the old days.

Why not connect your TTY port to a networkswitch ? Set up a telnet session to the switch with Procomm Plus using telnetport 6001 / vt220. This connection is also more secure because you can provide the networkswitch with an exta user/password combination.

I totally have to agree with many others. If you're still on 4.5 use OTM 2.2 instead of 3.0 and 3.1 A alternative for OTM 2.2 is Atiras (from FROX; before named SigmaPlus). This is also a Nortel approved application.

Did they use IDC or card inventory in 117 ? On 25.15 and 25.40 it's a known problem that card inventory can tricker a INI. There's a patch available for this problem.
