The COS entry (0-15) refers to the COS number that the station is assigned to. The COS group number refers to what COS the Tenant Partition group has assigned to. Check what TN number your phone has (uper right hand corner of the station page) and once you get the number do "cha tenant X " and...
Avaya told me one time that if the system powers off ungracefully that you need to stop and start IA770 when the the system comes back up compltetely or you will get weird errors within days or hours.
phonegoober,
This is what I do but if there is an easier way someone please advise.
1. Edit you 46xxsettings.txt and save it.
2. Download it to your S8300 thru the maintenance pages.
3. Telnet to your S8300 and log in.
4. change your working directory by typing
cd /var/home/ftp/pub
5. type...
PS. The only downside to the product I mentioned above is it monitors traffic by IP address so you have to have static IP address's for the phones you are monitoring.
There is a product made by Telrex that does what you are wanting to do. It utilizes an AES server using TSAPI basic. It monitors only unencrypted IP traffic going thru the gateway. It is a pretty slick product and considerably cheaper than Nice or Witness.
Are you trying to use ASA? If you are here are a few things that I have done.
1. When you set up a connection thru ASA make sure the check box SSH is checked, and manually log in.(I dont think you can have log in automatically because of the added PIN security)
2.Enable SAT thru the maintenace...
The way I got around it was to put the password in manually, but I enter a password that is less digits than the mininum password length. By doing that the system will prompt you to enter a new password.
The password that we are refering to is when you initially create a mailbox and when the user logs into it. It used to be " # " in all previous release untill now.
I dont need the sa or vm passwords.
It has been a while since I had this problem, but I think your problem has to do with call supervision. First test by calling your extension directly (Inbound) and then transfer to the outside number, if this works then it is a call supervision problem. To get around this change your trunk group...
I have ran into this problem and the fix for me was I did a change on off-pbx-telephone configuration-set and set the Cellular Voice Mail Detection to none. The only cell phone carriers that this setting seems to work on is Cingular and T-Mobile there might be more but I have not had an...
1. The rj45 to rj45 pinout are reversed from side to the next. Eg pin 1= pin 8
2. I use the same console cable for the G250,G350,and G700 and yes Cisco console cable doesn't work.
3. I dont know the pinouts for the 9 pin to rj45
You can stop or allow caller id on a extension by extension basis by going to the station form and go to page 2 and set
"Per Station CPN - Send Calling Number? " to either "r" for restrict or "Y" to allow, leaving it blank will also send whatever you have in your isdn pub screen.
