This tripped me up too. I used to have some 6408D+ stations with a port X coverage path to Audix voice mail that broke when I switched over to Modular Messaging. You have to change the station type to Virtual, if you have not already done so.
We want IP phones to "lose" their memory of what was the last extension it was registered under whenever someone signs off the phone.
We have a hoteling area and it causes problems when users log off and the next user comes along to use the phone. Because we use a common password, it's too...
In order to show missed calls, you must have the following lines in the 46xxsettings.txt file:
SET LOGUNSEEN 1
It has to do with missed calls going to coverage.

I think the originator is asking if there is a database that holds all the skill assignments for the agents, not what actually happened - calls delivered to agents by day, weekly, monthly.
In my call center, agent phones have COR 0 which means they cannot make any outgoing calls unless they are logged into the ACD, at which time they become COR 5 and able to make outgoing calls.
Management has requested that incoming DID calls to the agent be forced to voice mail (coverage path)...
Not specifically related to your question, but just letting you know I had issues trying to use the WebLM server that hosts my Voice Portal licenses to also host my AES licenses. My VAR just could not get it to work. Something about AES needing to be on a Linux WebLM host.
Make sure you use audio groups that contain VAL resources at both locations. When it's time to play the announcements, it will pull the WAV file from the closest VAL resource, and if the WAN is down, from the local resource.
One down side, however, when doing this, is that your VAL board at...
We've recently started using auto-answer for ACD calls. The agent hears the zip tone just fine. But the caller no longer hears a ring that their call is being connected and just a second or two of silence until the agent starts to speak. The zip tone is less than a second, so that's not the...
Thanks ... I was wondering about that because I thought the incoming call treatment manipulated the digits received, e.g. DNIS or DID, and was skeptical that you could take action based on ANI. I've had to use up EC500 licenses before to block telemarketers and the ability to take ANI action at...
You'll have to set up an account on the IBM web site (free of charge).

I'm running CM 5.1.1. Is there a way to see (with one command) which Meet-Me's are actively being used? I know I can type "status meet-me xxxx" individually for each meet-me VDN, but that's tedious.
Thanks!

I have a new CM 5.1.1 installation, and have set up the syslog on the administration screen to point to my syslog server. I have turned on command logging, yet my SAT commands are not being sent to the syslog server. I do get other messages on the syslog server, such as when I save...
