Can anybody help i have a virtual extension that definatly has a mailbox assigned and is in the designated mailbox range ,

all i am trying to do route a ddi to it, so that users can leave a message,

i have tried routing direct through the inc-call-handling-trmt-trunk-group to the virtual extension but that just rings busy,

i then tried setting up a vdn to a vector then i tried routing direct to the virtual station from the vector, which didnt work, it gave ring then returned busy (customer has definatly recorded a greeting on the virtual mailbox),

I then tried routing to a hunt group with a cover path and coverage answer group with the virtual station included (again gave ring back then busy).

What am i doing wrong please help i thought this would be easy to do!

This tripped me up too. I used to have some 6408D+ stations with a port X coverage path to Audix voice mail that broke when I switched over to Modular Messaging. You have to change the station type to Virtual, if you have not already done so.

exellent cheers for the advice i realised i needed a cover path with the first cover position set to my audix hunt group,

Cheers Guys.
