since day 1 with the new phone system up here in HFD the call log, and most specifically the missed call log doesn’t work for beans. We opened a ticket with Avaya but it was never resolved. I was asked again yesterday by one of our exec’s “So how does this thing work” and I had to again say it doesn’t. It appears, and this is only a guess that the other sections work, meaning the answered call log and the outgoing call log. Some entries could be missing there too but I really haven’t noticed. The missed calls log is what we seem to miss the most.Please give me any advise to fix the call logs.

Are you running the latest firmware 3.101b?
 
Yes all phones on the latest firmware this is a wierd issue I know but any help will be greatly appreciated as I have run out of ideas to try.
 
What version of CM are you running. In versions before 5.2 their is a know issue on this. See below.


1. Make sure this patch is installed to fix the display problems with the call logs on 2410 sets.
MRs found only in patch 15189


defsw074311 g3v2070701-Call-log shows less Room digits 3.1(nochange)
4.0(nochange) 5.1(nochange)
MR defsw074311 for future reference.

Ok we are on CM 5.2.1 and svc pack 4 I hope this is a help since this issue is becoming a problem for our execs as well as other staff. please help if you can.

5.2.1 is up to SP # 5 but I don't think your issue is covered under this update.
 
Could you tell me what update this type of problem is covered under? I am about to move us to SVC pack 5 on CM-5.2.1
 
In order to show missed calls, you must have the following lines in the 46xxsettings.txt file:

SET LOGUNSEEN 1

It has to do with missed calls going to coverage.

Ok so where in the 46xx file would SET LOGUNSEEN 1 go??

you need the latest settings file. this was a change with the 96xx phone firmware recently. go to support.avaya.com and dowload the latest 46xxsettings.txt file and then search that file for logunseen.
