    I'm running Vista ultimate and just installed Office 2K3. I tried to import messages from an old Outlook Express 6 mail store but it won't complete.     Sorry for taking so long in getting back. I was able to get rid of it after finding a .dll file call, using HJT. I was able to remove the tray icon. System is, or was clean, after I gave it back...can't say what they've done since then ;) Thanks for the links and info. Cheers

    Oops...sorry I re-read the pop-up and it said "Spylocked" not 'Spyblocker'! Anyway I found the offending .dll file in the system32 directory, renamed and rebooted. No system tray icon. I'm re-running Hitmanpro to cleanup the leftovers! Cheers

    Hitmanpro runs Spybot, adaware, SpywareBlaster, Webroot, Spywaredoctor, Ewido and some other little apps. None could rid the pc of the problem. As I said it remains in the systray even in safemode (WinXP) and makes it a tuff little SOB to get rid of! Cheers

    Never believe the "ad's". However, the 6o mb's mentioned are really burst rate's (peak) and not sustained transfer rates which is always much lower...even in the internal drives! They always give you the highest numbers and best case senerio's with advertizing...so is it what to expect, yeah...

    Actually your problem sounds like a virtual memory problem! I'll bet if you watch yor pc you'll notice alot of disk activity when you minimize. This is the program writing to the hard drive to free up memory...hence you notice the speed increase once the system has stabilized after minimizing...
