Looks like your old jumpstart configuration is conflicting with the current install. Go to all other jumpstart servers and cleanup any entries related to this jumpstart client from the following files:
/etc/inet/hosts
/etc/bootparams
/etc/ethers
Try jumpstarting after this is done,

More to the previous post. For Emulex cards, install HBAnyware package, and run /usr/sbin/lpfc/lputil command follow the menu selections to get the WWWN.
Which model is the card ?
If it's an Emulex make, you can download the lpfc package from Emulex website. Run prtdiag to to identify the model.
If you're connecting to a EMC frame, check EMC powerlink for the compatibility matrix as a best practice, and get the correct version.
If it's a JNI...
You can configure virtual interfaces as below:
ifconfig <interfacename>:1 plumb <IP address> up
Theoritically, you can configure 256 virtual interfaces to one physical interface.
If the brand-new tapes are being frozen, you'd want to find out if they are touched by the same tape drive, which is most likely dirty.Check the Netbackup logs and as well as the system logs if the drive needs any cleaning. If drive is in a tape library, make sure you maintain enough cleaning...
You donot want to use a frozen tape for backups because most of the times tapes are frozen for a reason. The best way is to wait until the images on the tape expire, unfreeze the tape and delete the tape permanently from the volume database.

I was told by a Sun Engineer that all the high-end Sun servers sold with "server start", i.e., you can have the Sun Engineer come on-site and install the OS for you. In your case, you may have to check with your vendor.
