SF15K question

The 15k/12k comes with 2 system controllers configured with Solaris 8. I would read the entire SMS guide pdf (below) and surely your SSE will help you out here. You'll need to create your domain (add SBs & IO boards, etc) then you can boot off the System Controllers.

Be sure to read this, the system controllers on the 12k & 15k are different then 10k and 6800s!

Every Sun box comes with Solaris preloaded.
I was told by a Sun Engineer that all the high-end Sun servers sold with "server start", i.e., you can have the Sun Engineer come on-site and install the OS for you. In your case, you may have to check with your vendor.
