Hi, we currently utilize Avaya IPO, and the Equinox client for our remote users, to take calls for our call center. It is ok at best, but does act up at times. Are there any other options other than Equinox, something reliable? Just curious to know what's out there, as far as client to use...
As the title says. We have remote users that VPN in, and use the Equinox client for taking/making calls. Most of the time, things are fine, take calls, make calls, hold, transfer, no issues. At times, when someone goes to transfer a call, the call is transferred, but the line is not release...
Joe - I'll give this a shot. Was noticing some odd behavior on it, so I rebooted. Solved some problems.
I've tried every different ring mode to see if it made a difference.
Yes, group B is our inbound call center fielding 1k calls per day. That group has queuing turned on. I'm wondering if I need to turn on group A queueing in order for the call to wait for a member of group B to answer??
I'll try monitor as well.

I "can" use the native Skype for biz client to make and receive calls, but its through and on prem SFB server. I do have a hybrid deployment for SFB, but I haven't figured out how to connect my IPO to the cloud SFB yet. Not sure if I'll even explore that route.
Also - MS is moving towards...
Pepp, you were right. If the codecs are in the wrong order, you will get that error. You do have to choose custom, and put the same codecs in, with the same order.
Thanks for the help.
Just upgraded 5 IPO's from 8.1 to 11. Everything works great, but on two of 4 IP Office SCN lines - I'm getting "Incompatible codec settings detected. Media path may not be operational" The lines do work though. The settings are the same as two other lines that don't have this error. The...
IPO v9.1.10.0
I have a 5 site SCN, with one IPO acting as the central, with 4 IP Office Proprietary SCN lines to each branch. At some of the branches, additional IPO SCN lines have appeared with 0.0.0.0 IP addresses. I didn't create these lines. Is this normal?
The answer is yes. I'm running IPO 8.1 and fully integrated via SIP trucks to SFB 2015. Wasn't easy - here is a great article.

OK I think I get it.
sizbut, with your last answer, if I understand correctly, I have an interesting licensing question:
If IPO A is the central, and IPO B is distributed:
Call comes into IPO B, which point it to a VM module. Since no modules exist on a distributed VM system, which voicemail...
I have a 5-IPO SCN Mixed versions 9.1 - 8.1 and one centralized VM Pro. I'm trying to take some of the load of the VM Pro server. I've done lots of reading about how to setup a distributed VM Pro server, but I can't get a good explanation of what it's real purpose is.
Can someone give a real...
I have gone through the basics, which you mentioned and thank you for that. Can you confirm a couple of things for me please. We are currently running Avaya IP office Manager 9.1 and Voicemail Pro 9.1. Doesn't Office Manager come with a certain amount of licenses that allows for use of UMS...
