After coming across the AMD website, I realized I could have just asked them (AMD). So I called them, and the tech support said the CPU will accept any size, speed that the motherboard will support. And about the 800mhz top speed listed on the page I listed, he said that was just outdated info...
Awesome, I will do exactly that, I came across a few memory upgrade charts from kingston and some others but every one I came across did not include the motherboard I have which is a biostar N68S+. Thanks again flyboytim, I'll check out crucials upgrade recconmendations to give me an idea.

I've acquired an AMD Athlon 64x2 CPU that appears to work great.
It came with 1Gb of ram and a burnt mobo. I've invested in a new mobo model. Here are the specs which I have so far.

Im looking for a dos version or something like dos that I can boot up with from a floppy or cdrom and then navigate through my ntfs partions and folders. I tried the ntfsreader from bootdisk.com and thats a great program, just not what I need to do. I want to be able to boot into the disk...
Sounds like your looking for the msconfig program. Open Windows, click on Start>Run> and type in> msconfig and hit enter.... a window should appear.... look on the Startup tab towards the far right. Hope this helps.
I made the setup disk for windows 2000 from the W2K oem cd; it made 4 boot disk to install windows 2000. My question is.
Is there a program I can use that will compile the 4 boot disk all on 1 cdrom, for me to burn? This way I can boot and load Windows2K from the cdrom entirely enstead of useing...
