can anyone tell me the command to view and edit all my start-up programs? i have used it before but its been so long i have forgetten. thanks for help.
 
Sounds like your looking for the msconfig program. Open Windows, click on Start>Run> and type in> msconfig and hit enter.... a window should appear.... look on the Startup tab towards the far right. Hope this helps.

msconfig does not ship with Windows 2K.

However you can download a W2K version here:

Ahhhh, Thanks for the interesting info Eguy. Been awhile, maybe too long since I been in a W2k system.
