reboot the phone and make sure the key is not getting stuck.... 3904 keys are pick about the cap over the key if the label under it is not fitting good.... it drags easily and sticks.
I have a strange one today...... try calling a long distance number ad rather than dial out, it just hangs up /drops the line. No message or anything? What would I need to look at to see what might be going on there? (Opt 81) Thanks in advance....
maybe Ill let it ride for awhile and let my users do the call testing for me.... let them give me the numbers they can't reach. Thanks for the thoughts!
Hmmm - OK, that sounds way more involved than I am probably capable of..... the worst part is so far, it's just random numbers we cant reach. Although I know they were supposed to push 10 digit dialing in our area if not nationwide? I may have to do a bunch of test calls in area codes and...
Well, it appears as though some of my local dialing must now be allowed to use 7 digit dialing? I've had complaints about certain numbers not being reachable that were last week.... so I assume it's because my switch is only allowing 7 digit local dialing? I noticed that I get a re-order as...
Thanks bignose21! I did re-boot the callpilot server which was also not working. It came back up luckily. I looked around in ld 135 - but I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing. I see that I have one CNI card that is DSBL? is that supposed to be?
Any ideas on what I can start looking at? My switch just started spewing out these..? Unfortunately I don't have any available tech's since the company that used to help us went out of business.....

I can not get logged into that server.... sigh. Apparently I don't have the right name/PW? I can get into the client, but it does not give me any server functionality to restart it that I can see?
Any idea who I can call for support on these things any more? My old provider has gone out...
We lost power a few days back and I'm pretty sure the CallPilot (600R) server lost power but the PBX (OPT 81) did not.
I thought CP was working OK when it booted back up becuase it picks up and you can do the normal things. But people started complaining about MWI light being on and no VM's...
yep. I went down today and got it going on a different card. There is something wrong with that line card. Only the first 5 ports seem to be working? Weird huh? I'll have to take another card down there the next time I go and swap it. See if that fixes it. I've never run into that...
buddy - yes. No problems. That's what baffles me? I wonder if I reset that line card...? wonder if somehow it's hosed up? Ill bet it hasn't had a phone changed or added in 15 years....
Hmmm it looks like I have 4 analog phones left that I can ad.... so I don't think I'm out of license's. I used TN 8 5 and the set on 8 4 is working. Ill try and bump it down to a different port. It doesn't make any sense that I can't dial the 4th digit though? even if it's a bad port it...
Last time I had one acting up, it wasn't daily, but was very intermittent. Took a long time to narrow it down to a flakey power supply. I swapped it out and never had any more troubles. As I recall, the only way I caught it was I happened to be standing there when it put up a message about...
Try doing a status on the card or the TN you have the set built on.
Example from ld11 do STAT 12 0 4 3
OR DO Stat 12 to get all the ports on card 12.....
see if they are in idle state. IF is shows DSBL do enlu 12 0 4 3
then check the STAT again. If this keeps happening you either have a...
SO I added another analog set to my remote OPT 11, by copying another set from the port next to the one I wanted. It looked like everything went OK and it built the set. When I went down and patched the set over I can't dial out? I get a fast busy as soon as I dial the last digit? Same as I...
OK - Thanks! I'll see if I can remember how to check packages...... I know Cisco is ridiculous in cost - both upfront and continuing. But they are going to let the IT dept make the call no doubt. I like the functionality, but honestly the Shortel stuff is great bang for the buck. I know a lot...
Hmmm - I'm a one man show! I will have to have lots of hands on deck to do it as a forklift upgrade...... the guys at our corp headquarters are hell bent on Cisco, not sure if that is what will be pushed?
How do I tell if I have QSIG package? I can at least look at that..... we never did...
