the system is a mitel 3300 cxi, I wanted to create a work from home extension, and setup the voice mail.
We have 4 liscenses, wanted to use one for night time and so we can set it to go on after say 10 rings...
what I mean by cannot dial out using different numbers is that we have a number ending 123 with bt and another number ending 321 with a VoIP service provider. In the past we used the VoIP number for most of the calls and we would simply select the correct button for that associated number before...
I've changed the answer supervision so hopefully e problem will stop. The only way I will know if it's sorted is whether the problem continues so I will keep you informed . Thanks for the help.
We have 2 analogue lines and we are not able to identify which line is ringing, in essance if both lines where to a different business we would want to be able to answer each call differently, plus we cannot dial out using the different numbers.
Caller display is also enabled but doesnt work...
Hi there, we have a mitel 3300cxi, analogue phones, and when we dial out there is quite often a few seconds of delay before the person on the othere end can hear us, by then they have often hung up thinking its a prank call??
any ideas?
It doesnt happen on incoming calls only outgoing ones?

yes the dhcp settings are standard. ig gateway 192.168.1.2 router in plugged into the WAN port.
however with the router pluged in and the computers plugged into the back of the phones, no internet is accessable.
we have a mitel 3300 mxi, the router is currently connected to the level 2 switch.
The server is also attached to this switch.
We cannot access the internet.
Ideally we want to have the computers working via the network cable supplied to the telephone(network point on the back)

the phones receive calls . When accessing outside line, the line shows engaged tone after the 4/5 digit is imnput.
Analogue lines have never dialed out to my knowledge
We have 3 analogue lines going into the 3300cxi.
All lines ring when phoned externally, but we cant dial out from any of the extensions?

Yes to wireman 50 it looks like it. I will have ago DBMS saving. I don't think I did that.. Thanks everyone. If this doesn't work I'm gonna have to scrap it. I haven't got the time at the moment to keep working on this.

Ive tried using another controller , swapping hard drives, and to see if the switch is broken, however it still doesnt have power, whereas the other drive works on both controllers??
