This seems to be the same issue and I've seen it 3x now since that date with the newest 11.1 release.
Customer have VMs they delete them, the VM light goes off. Then later the VM light comes back on and it's the same message and it cannot...
Woah ummm, I didn't attack anybody. Sorry if it came off that way.
I appreciate the options, it's just he said in the beginning that upgrading wasn't an option, is all I was saying.
Sorry if it somehow sounded like an attack, definitely didn't mean it to.
And CarGoSki, I appreciate the option...
Anybody with any suggestions on what to do for this?
VM to email not working on 8.0 Avaya IP Office with VM Pro and a new version of Windows 7 installed.
Used to work on the old Windows 7 version.
But had to recreate everything when it was deleted when the customer installed the windows 7...
Westi, QthePhoneman is asking for solutions to fix the issue with what they have now. It did work before on this release.
This is a tech that works for me that created this post. He stated in the original post, the customer is not willing to upgrade at this time.
Their corporate office is...
...I deleted the wav file from the manager folder, it wasn't deleting it from the SD card. When you mentioned SD card, a light bulb went on. I went into embedded file management and replaced it with the correct wav file and it started playing at *34 almost immediately.
Thanks again for your help.
We did 2 different wav file options to try. The 1st one we did at -14db, but when you played it on the PC it was very quiet.
So we did another at -8db and that seemed to be perfect. But didn't matter which one I put in the manager folder it played the louder original volume.
My thoughts after I...
I have a customer that we loaded a wav.file into their Avaya IP Office system>telephony>tones and music> wav.file (they are running 11.0)
It was too loud, so we used the Audicity app to lower the volume and resaved it, deleted the old file, inserted the new file in the manager folder, renamed...
...shows the call connected for about 2 seconds, then it disconnects. The carrier of one of the called numbers is telling NexVortex that there is a * in the outgoing header from the PBX. NexVortex is telling us to change the header. Below is the email I received from them....

Thank you. I figured it out right after posting this. Although we had an incoming call route built for each phone number, I figured out that we needed to build another under "Call Details" under the SIP line 17. Had to "Add" a new for each incoming DID or the provider would reject the call and...
Hello. I have an issue with a new Avaya IP Office SIP trunk install.
Outgoing calls work fine. But the incoming calls only work to the main number.
All other incoming calls to all other numbers says the number has been disconnected.
And I ran a monitor and watched as I called one of the numbers...
...read the paragraph below from the tech that was onsite.
Also, FYI, we upgraded the IPO to 11.0 and then installed 8 SIP trunk licenses as well.
***Here is a description from the tech that was out there.
"The Avaya job aid for programming Sip trunks on an IPO with Charter Spectrum shows to...
It has never happened when he answers the call.
Only from a VM on his cell phone.
And I should add, he has Verizon for his cell phone service. The other detail that I left out, is that his wife has Verizon too, and if you choose her option in the auto attendant after hours, it does the same...
Hello everyone. I've got a really weird issue that been happening with an Avaya IP Office customer of mine.
They had 8.1.56 software version.
They have embedded messaging and are using an Auto Attendant.
They have Comcast PRI for phone service. They changed from a different carrier PRI back in...
Hello everyone.
I've got a customer that we installed an Avaya IP Office phone system 9.1.5 to replace a Nortel MICS. They had an Avaya BST doorphone which was connected to a digital port on the Nortel phone system. With a Nortel DOC door controller connected as well. When the doorphone button...
Yes, I did know that. I was thinking of being lazy....lol. If I found an adaptor that was a buck or less than a buck each. I was thinking it would be totally worth it to spend $80- $100 to avoid having to make 80 cords. I will probably just end up cutting off the line cord mod end and replacing...
Thank you Joe for the responses. I did some more digging this morning and found another Tek-tips post this morning that said exactly what you did. Pins 1,2,3,6. Thank you, that is exactly what I was looking for. Problem is I don't get tone down pins 4,5 from the jack. They are wired to 110...
